THIS WEEK - FUN ON THE FLOOR

Image
I was selected to attend an event at the London Frame Studio
organised by Total Greek yoghurt and of course I dragged my
American guest along with me to share the experience.
We were happy/nervous pupils being taught how to Rumba, Salsa
and Tango by the pros - Dee Thresher celebrity fitness expert and
Jesús Reyes Ortiz Jr dance instructor from the US.

O' yes, it was a PROPER work out whilst trying to not look like the odd ones out
...hard work! However, it was fun and very friendly, which helped us shake off
any embarrassment or pressure.

The class was rounded off nicely with a generous spread of tasty food,
refreshments and other great stuff courtesy of Total Greek yoghurt.
If you don't like the gym, this could be an alternative keep fit method for you.

Now I have the hunger for more Rumba dancing so 'Strictly Come' or 'Dancing with' -
here these happy feet come!

THIS WEEK - DON'T DO PANIC SHOPPING

Image
*Christmas* Grocery shopping

IF you still have your Christmas FOOD shopping list or receipt from last year,
then I'm sure you can use that list as a guide for this year.
Doubt your grocery likes and dislikes have changed much so there's
no need to re-write a Christmas shopping list.

Even better if you shopped online last year and stored your shopping
list or have access to the online receipt.

THIS WEEK - NEEDS MUSTS

Image
Hi Coco & Curls faithfuls,

WINTER weather is here! But are you ready?

AS the wet, cold, chilly, dark creeps upon us in this part of the
world, I want to show you my top top winter needs MUSTS!

I have decided to list them in order of significance to me:

MICROWAVABLE hot water bottle, except there isn't any
water in it, just a reheatable liquid which is great as it holds
the heat for up 7 hours -  NO LIE!

My ole fav WOOLLIES, I know such an unattractive name
for such fab item; retro style but a hit and always stays on top
of the woolly pile.

WARM HONEY MILK - a great soothing yummy drink to help
you forget the dreary weather.

WOOLLY HATS, jus so practical; helps to hide scandal and mayhem
underneath and at the same time prevents hypothermia. REMEMBER
up to 75% of heat is lost from the head.

L.O.V.E. bracelets and it's great to wear a few or more bracelets together to give you that bold style.

There are a lot of gold jewellery in the shops this season but silver is still a hit in my opinion.

You may find some unique silver pieces that you could experiment with at www.fantasyaccessorybox.com

THIS WEEK - WHEN TO BREAK UP WITH YOUR MAKE UP

Image
IT'S like having a long term relationship thathas become stale  and now that time has come when you must move on                                   .
I don't care how much you spent on that mascara 3 months ago, just chuck it.
Replenish old expired stock of lippy, foundations and other makeup that you may have been holding onto for too long after you've opened them.     You could be holding onto germs and bacteria that's waiting to attack the pores, eyes, lips and mouth!  Find out when to prise yourself away from your make up.Some make up do not have expiry dates so read below to see when it's time to break up with your make up .        Mascara — 3 months. (Some say 6 months, but many cosmetics experts, including Lynnette DaltonJames M.A.C.cosultant, recommend 3 months.) THIS WEEK - VINTAGE GOODIES

Image
Can I have your attention please, vintage loving clothes people.

Personally, I love vintage pieces they are special and give you that
extra edge. Today I found one of my favourite vintage pieces in my
wardrobe. It's a 1960's flirty multicoloured dress with amazing
detail.

I did some vintage spotting on line and found some inspirations.

Vintage goodies gives you the VIP look with ease that other
clothes simply cannot.

THIS WEEK - CURIOSITY

Image
How was your week? The London Olympics has finally finished BUT
the buzz is still rife. I, who was not an Olympic fan now feel like an
inspired Olympian. I camped at the Battersea Bar to watch the
favourite Bolt race.

I suddenly felt possessed with excitement and began
commentating with clinched fists, When I eventually came to, I
realised I was doing some what of a victory dance.
THAT's called Olympic fever ...

FACEBOOK - WHO'S LOOKING AT ME?
Yes, that's right facebook is doing the slow roll out of eliminating
privacy by making profiles visible to Tom, Dick and Harry.

Facebook users will see who viewed their profile and
how many times their profile has been viewed by individuals.
So no sneaky peeks on ex partners, eye candy and the rest...
...the veil will be lifted. Ooops!

THIS WEEK - CHEERING

Image
THE OLYMPICS is in full swing, extra TVs  have been
installed at work, even the least sporty people are excited and enthusiastic!
Now I can't say that I feel the Olympic FEVER yet but I am enjoying
the Olympic souvenir freebies, happy vibes and GB team spirit.

THIS WEEK - WEARING THE WRONG KNICKERS

Image
OFTEN, we focus on the bra fopars and have so much guidance available to
ensure us girls have the right fit but what about the  right knickers FIT.
We can't solely rely on responses to "does my butt look big in this?"
or hope that no knickers will be the answer, it's just not good enough.

This is a sensitive subject and I am no stranger to that. We need to be aware
that it's not just the style that is important but also our individual size.

School girl error is believing our bottom doesn't grow or fluctuate as much
as our cup size and wear the wrong knicker bocker size for far too long.

You should be familiar with your size by getting a fitting or measuring from hip to
hip as well as your waist. SEE my knicker guide below.

5 signs that you're wearing the wrong size knickers ladies...

Nicker waistline is baggy and slipping down. (Elastic may be worn and tired, buy new     knicks to replace the old or get consultation on a correct fit)  G -string is no longer a…

THE WEEK - FASHION ER

Image
FASHIONER Be prepared for a wardrobe malfunction which could occur anytime and anywhere.
Many people forget and then regret to NOT have emergency supplies in their car glove compartment, office draw or handbag to resolve a wardrobe disaster.

I have the above fashion emergency to help me,only £1. Contact me for further info.

THE WEEK - WIMBLEDON

Image
MY DAY A           DAY      AT       WIMBLEDON

There's such a buzz in the tennis arena, that you can't ignore. Just have to succum
to the social vibe. Dress code: smart casual is a popular look at wimbledon and it's best to wear comfortable clothes if you plan on walking around or relaxing on Henman Hill

Yes, I had my strawberries and cream (all £2.50 worth) as it would be unthinkable
to NOT take part in Wimbledon's tradition and eat the delicacy.

Whilst picnicing in court No2, I watched the following matches:
Ana Ivanovic (SRB)(14) v Julia Goerges (Ger) (22)
Jana Cepelova (SVK) v Victoria Azarenka (BLR) (2)
Also,  Marin Cilic (Cro)(16) v Sam Querrey (USA).
(The second longest game in the history of Wimbledon.) Imagine playing for 5.5 hours

Stretched my legs and walked up to Henmen Hill and watched Serena in the
ladies singles as she squeezed her victory. Quickly walked to court 12 to watch
the William sisters for a little bit. Perfect!

THE WEEK - DON'T TAKE YOURSELF SERIOUSLY

Image
Whether you're indulging whilst at work, taking a sneaky peak
or just browsing my blog, you are welcome.
Click on my other pages to your right too.

CARICATURE OF YOURSELF

Learn to laugh at yourself and see your caricature side.
I would love to have a caricature of myself being a super hero
or even a manga character on a tee.
Will be asking for my talented brother's help soon!

THIS WEEK - ABOUT MY PRINCE

THIS WEEK - DARE TO BE...

Image
Dare to be a  Dare Devil

Haven't been on funfair ride in a long time and against my better
judgement I dared to have fun on the Sky Rider!
IT repeatedly went up high and back down, then up in the air
and stopped upside down in mid air until all of myblood rushed to my head.

I screamed and screamed, my scream screamed...and when it was over,
I was sooo happy that my heart was still ticking. PHEW!

They say happiness is a form of courage, huh!

Sucker for Hero movies

I always jump at the chance to watch comic movies like that, love X- Men and Fantastic
Four. There are more Marvel comic characters yet to grace our cinema screens and enough
stories to last decades. Yesss!
