I was selected to attend an event at the London Frame Studio
organised by Total Greek yoghurt and of course I dragged my
American guest along with me to share the experience.
We were happy/nervous pupils being taught how to Rumba, Salsa
and Tango by the pros - Dee Thresher celebrity fitness expert and
Jesús Reyes Ortiz Jr dance instructor from the US.

O' yes, it was a PROPER work out whilst trying to not look like the odd ones out
...hard work! However, it was fun and very friendly, which helped us shake off
any embarrassment or pressure.

The class was rounded off nicely with a generous spread of tasty food,
refreshments and other great stuff courtesy of Total Greek yoghurt.
If you don't like the gym, this could be an alternative keep fit method for you.

Now I have the hunger for more Rumba dancing so 'Strictly Come' or 'Dancing with' -
here these happy feet come!

This time it was fun on the 6th floor, where I ate lunch at the London Ken…

THIS WEEK was a time to reflect on the past year.
Don't be scared to carve out your dreams in year 2012.

Not only has a new year quickly rared its head again, but
it's also a leap year! So one extra day for us in Feb.

A Special Year for Women

A leap year also means women propose to
their boyfriend instead of their boyfriend taking that leap...
not sure how the folk law works out in a gay relationship.

5 Marriage Proposal Ideas...
1. Create a photo montage of you both, show it to the boyfriend
and then pop the question.

2.  If you're gutsy and don't mind an audience...organise popping
the question at a cinema during the trailer or after the credits in
front of others...pop corny but effective for some people.

3. Get a large heart shape cookie with the words
"will you marry me?". Sweet.

4.Get some body paint and paint the words on your body.
Private and sensual.

5.Return to the scene of your first date, and say those immortal
words. Classic

Any how...fresh year 2012 has s…

I have indulged without an apology and I hope you have too.
Told you I would bake a Christmas cake and I did.

I call this the 'Very Merry Cake' and if you had a taste,
you would know exactly what I mean.
It was my first attempt at this alcohol
fruit cake and it taste great.

Glam Glam!

2012 is upon us and celebrations are in order so we need
to get our swag together.

Fab 4, for four nights out...

Silver puzzle earrings on Christmas evePink and gold heart earrings on Christmas dayGun metal diamante earrings on New Years EveWhite feather earrings on New Years day.

YES, this time next week, a lot of us will be chilling and
soaking up the festivities with family. So I can't stop
chatting about yep...Christmas.

Next week is the final week to get all your
Christmas shopping. So I have spoilt you with some
brilliant ideas. Christmas crackers: You Fill!

TUG, stretch, burst, rip your Christmas cracker open and you know what you’ll get, a paper party hat and if you're fortunate enough, you may get a sewing kit. Booohh! But you could do one better this year by filling your own crackers for your dinner guests. That’s why I like the make your own crackers kits.

Then you would have to shop for the ideal filler (sample size perfumes/aftershave, make up, jewellery, lottery ticket and a funny joke) that will fit inside the
cracker. If you fancy larger size crackers , you can find
them on Amazon.

I only eat the meaty parts like the breast portions and not the

I officially became a chosen parent blogger for one of
the largest parent websites in the UK.
Sooo chuffed to be a member of the Mums net bloggers
network, growing day by day. Yeah!

This time last year there were huge snow flakes falling,
thick blankets of snow and mayhem, we in the UK could not
work through the snow and everything was brought to a halt!

Now it's not snowing, there's no excuse to not work! Still its
cold so it's time to reach for the winter warmers.

Hi, whether you're taking a SNEAKY peek on
a lunch break or browsing at your leisure.

FOR music loving people, I mean those of you who want to listen to music in style and great sound quality.
Dre Beats headset may just help out here.

The Shamballa bracelets are a hit and will still
be a hit this Christmas.

In short, Shamballa is spiritual and represents
a Buddhist physical place that can only be
reached by people with good karma. So the
bracelets are now blinged out and made to look
trendy. They are unisex and come in many colours
from gun metal to pink swarovski or czech crystals.

The prices range from £9 - £120 depending on
the quality of the crystals.

I made my very own hair gel by boiling half a cup of
whole linseeds (flaxseed) for 5mins on high heat,
left it to cool and strained it into an empty tub.

Also added a table spoon olive oil and
coconut oil...good to go! No harmful chems
or alcohol and cost under £3.00.
So many v…

During the week

Started my Christmas cake already!

I soaked my raisins in port ruby wine, a dash
of brandy and placed in a dark cupboard.
(Some people soak fruits like sultanas in rum or even gin).
They'll be just perfect for baking with by the 23rd of
December. Of course I will be uploading the finished product.
This will be the centre piece on the dinner table, I think.
Can't wait for the show stopping Christmas!

Why the goldrush ?

Many companies are asking us to sell our gold to
them. And why because the value of gold has risen
by at least 25% in the last 12 months so there has been
a mad rush for gold bars, coins and simply jewellery
especially Indian gold jewellery.

I personally wouldn't be tempted to sell my gold.
Normally, those companies will not give you the full value
and would make a killing from your gold. It's anticipated
gold will be in more demand so if you're thinking about
selling your yellow items it might pay to hold onto them
a little longer.

SO has your week been busy? Well now it's time to play
catch up with this weeks C& C.

When are you NOT too old to date a younger person?

A well known 32 year old presenter has been given a hard
time because she is apparently dating a 18 year old.

You wouldn't believe the names hurled at her...
cradle snatcher, desperate and shameful.
But men in her shoes do not get this stick at all, in this
current time why are women still being treated unfairly
and usually by other females. What's up with some people?

Happiness is the key to life!

Seriously, happiness is so important to really get the most out
of your life. I often try to find things to do that will
counteract stress and pressure. It's so easy to lose yourself in
daily grind. I've vowed to keep up with my routine messages
to combat intense days.

Try to think of simple things that make you happy.
Why not go to comedy shows, swimming, apple picking,
get your down time or 'me' time doing whatever, it…

Wow! Whataweek. I've had a blog break but I'm back
to spill the beans.

There's been fireworks, crackers and sparklers to celebrate
Bonfire night, Eid, Poppy day and the end of Big Brother
(Err such a shame - not)

Cute Cupcake

I was like a kid, had the best cupcake ever and one that
I will attempt to bake in the future. So deceiving, a cupcake
that looks like an ice cream on a cone. Imagine, I was eating
this yum cake whilst walking along the high street in the middle
of November! Mad. Purchased from Waitrose.

My Alter Ego
I watched an interview with Mary J Blige on the Chatty Man
show, and she seemed to have lost the plot.
Her interview seemed normal until she started to talk about
her alter ego 'Brooklyn'. Now I have heard it all before....
it's the celebs bad devilish representative, who isn't really the
artist them self. The crap we are being fed brings water to my eyes.

I just felt like saying "Err how old are you.?... Grow up Mary".
If I behaved…

This week - HEALTHY FUN

Indulged in a simple but mesmerising salad. Sometimes it's just
the simple dish that hits the spot for me.

The crumbled feta cheesechunks of tomatoes, olive oil
and cubed water melon with a sprinkle of basil herb. It brought my memories back to the wonderful salad I ate in a Covent Garden, London restaurant which was at the time strange but a beauty to my taste buds.
I remember the clever mix of leafy salad and
manderine pegs. Love those salads as a lunch/snack.
Cheese and water melon beats pineapple and cheese chunks
hands down any, any day.

NOW there is a frenzy about coconut oil NOT for ya food
but hair, since Brooke Burke spoke about using the
coconut oil to give her hair a soft and bouncy look.

And I have to agree pure coconut oil has benefits as
long as my arm. Great for any hair type. Fact: Pure coconut oil
makes hair look happy and feel beautiful. You should wiki it!
May be just add it to your hair stapple diet.

Oh yeah on the subject of bea…

4D MOVIES VS 3D MOVIES

I saw a movie poster stating "4D", so what's 4D?
PUZZLING- So had to google it! This is one many
explainations that I got...
The cube is like a  3D image so the logic to 4D, would be something that looks like a cubed honeycomb...feeling smart now. If you don't
understand but care that you don't then just go out and watch the latest Spy Kid 4D movie.
MY ACCOUNT OF THE LONDON RIOTS
Most SHOCKING thing was the LONDON RIOTS IDIOTS. Words fail me for once and all I can say is CRAZY! In short a criminal may have been executed by police people fear they are being treated unfairly and feel crap may be depressed and for some clinically mad.
Many people protest peacefully or discuss the issues but others have rebelled by stealing, mugging, burning trashing and even murdering in their local areas.   A good time to go on holiday if you ask me.

The best summer accessory of all time! Yes I said it, it's practical and
spectacular. I mean which accessory fends off the sun and adds glam and
hides a sulky face...well a great belt doesn't even come close in comparison.

Just spending a moment trying on shades and having fun with shapes
and colours. There aren't rules about which sunglasses are suitable
for a particular face shape.

There's reasons why I could not simply tell you large round will
suit small apple shaped face The super shade for you depends on a
combination of your individual
sense of style complexion and even hair styleI love shades and one pair is just isn't enough for me.
They can be expensive or inexpensive and still look great on you.
Now the retro style are current so if you still have your old ray ban
stunners then now is the time to resurrect them.

GREY hairs are due to stress and just hereditary, which will determine
when you'll get greys. Nope! That's what I used to think until I was
corrected  by my doctor. Greys are often linked to stress and ageing
but this is not always the case.

For the second time I spotted another grey hair in my eight year old
son's hair recently so it obviously wasn't due to old age and my son did
not seem like a stressed eight year old. Therefore, I spoke to my doctor
and was told the grey hair was due to lack of iron.

Yes, this can occur in adults too. I even 'googled' more info about this
and guess what, I found some adults and children get premature greys
due to a calcium as well as iron deficiency and away to prevent them is
to have food which contain iron such as beans, parsley, red grapes/juice,
cranberries, beef and nuts. Also, milk and eggs for calcium intake.

Too much of one things is never good in my opinion so excessive
consumption of the above is not sugge…

Like many women I try to look after my hair, I follow hair dos and don'ts, routines and  rituals whatever.

I recently bought a coat in Zara and just couldn't wait to wear it. Will have to upload a picture later. Every time I wore it, I felt great... until that is taking the beautiful coat off, I noticed the colar had lots of scattered broken strands of my hair...ohhh my. All that time I was wearing that coat I was unaware that I was getting my hair trimmed at the nape.

I can't believe it, I was not even wearing my hair down whilst wearing that coat and I didn't feel a thing whilst getting hair extracted. I now have to get over not wearing the coat as I was wearing it and now think of alternative ways of wearing it or not wear it at all.

May be I'll wear a scarf which doesn't destroy hair and use the scarf as a buffer.

May be I should cut my loses and give the coat to a charity or something.

In future I need to really check out the fabri…

Of course you have to prepare for swimming, cause if you don't there's just so much that could go wrong.
1. Ladies, first thing is first you have to make sure ya mini is shaved appropriately. Don't make that old school error by not looking after the bikini area. Yesterday, I was having a chat with some female friends about shaving down there. It came to light that some others don't believe it's necessary to shave at all cause they are MARRIED!

Hellllooooo, how shocking...allowing bush to ...anyway. I personally would rather shave than appear to a have a codpiece or hedge, as it is not a good look.

2. Next, the leg hair has to go, many women are always up to date and shave regularly but others are not that tentative particularly through the winter or non dating period. However, if you don't shave at any other time you should shave before you go near a pool unless it's your own pool.
You never know which hottie eye candy you'll bump into and I don't kno…

My bargain purchase!

HELLO! Yesterday I chatted about my recent bargain when I purchased this dress below. I coupled it with a few of my other items too.

Real Shopping!

SOMETIMES, you just have to get it by any means necessary even if it means making a few sacrifices for the next month or two. But if you're anything like me, what really hits the spot is grabbing that ridiculous bargain and I don't mean '3 for 2' hair shampoo...I'm talking about that great dress or cheap deal for that sofa or even tech piece that keeps you grinning for days.

Today my heavenly experience started when I randomly found a gorgeous dress and the price was knocked down three I GOT IT for an amazing £4, yes. I purchased it in a department at Allders and I can't help think the floods of online shoppers have created opportunities like this. Small concession departments are just not getting much attention these days but from now on, concession departments will be seeing a lot more of me.
